We strongly recommend flying into Chania International Airport (CHQ) instead of Heraklion, as Heraklion is a 2-hour drive from the event location. Chania Airport is much closer, making your arrival more convenient.

πŸš— Getting from Chania Airport to Stavros:
We highly recommend renting a car during your stay, as public transportation is limited, and having a rental car will allow you to explore the beauty of Crete more freely.

🏨 Accommodation – Book Early!
Since Crete is a popular tourist island, there are countless Airbnbs and hotels available, ranging from luxury resorts to cozy boutique stays. However, because this is high season, accommodations fill up quickly, so we suggest booking as soon as possible.

  • Kounoupidiana – A lively village with various accommodation options.
  • Kalathas – Known for its beautiful beach and charming stays.
  • Chorafakia – A peaceful traditional village with excellent Airbnb choices.
